Summary: My wife and I stayed here 3 days for the start of our honeymoon and we really loved it. At first we were a little shocked to see how small it was but once we got the Murphy bed down and the room warmed up by the cool electric fireplace we fell in love. We kept saying how it would be an excellent bachelor pad. The scenic views were amazing even in the winter. The lake was frozen over and we had fun walking around the resort. Unfortunately the pool was closed in winter as it’s outside but the hot tub was open and a condo owner at the resort showed us how to open the lid and we went for a exhilarating hot tubbing alongside the frozen lake and it was magical. Great for pictures as well. I do recommend if you do that to bring a hat while hot tubbing so your ears aren’t cold which we forgot but we managed and enjoyed it very well. We’re interested in coming back for the summer as we think it would be even more exciting. They had an excellent market just down the road about a mile and we even got DoorDash to our room which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend this place for a party no bigger than two at our specific rental but if you were to get a larger size rental, this resort would be very fun for a group of friends American pie style. The host was very nice to us and checking out we actually forgot our wallet and had to drive an hour back to get it. The host was very nice and we retrieved it back with no issues and were on our way to our next spot. Thanks again.
